David MacClausland’s main focus is employment and human rights law.
David hails from the outskirts of Saint John, New Brunswick. He is fluently bilingual and his wife is Acadian from the same area. David attended McGill University’s Faculty of Law, arguably Canada’s finest law school, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List in 2016. He completed his articles at a well-known law firm in Toronto that specializes in labour/employment, constitutional and human rights law, after which he served as a clerk to the judiciary at the prestigious Court of Appeal for Ontario. Prior to law school, David obtained a master’s degree in philosophy and classics, and taught in an interdisciplinary humanities program at the University of King’s College.
